Hi new to the group, diagnosed beginning of October had my surgery on 23/10, waiting now to find out if I need chemo or radiotherapy, tbh i am feeling that it would be worse to loose my hair than having the cancer itself, which is stupid I know
Not stupid at all! I'm quite a practical kind of girl and have never been one for spending much time on my hair...I'm a "pop it in a pony tail" and off you go kind of lass....and yet it does feel that I am spending more time worrying about losing my hair than the cancer as well. I'm glad I'm not the only one!
I have been researching all kinds of alternatives and haven't even been told I definitely need chemo yet, at least I will be prepared if I do
