Hi everyone, im new on here. In 2015 I was diagnosed with DCIS that spread to my nodes, after surgery, chemo, Radiotherapy, herceptin injections, more surgery and 6 years cancer free I was told last week I have IDC grade 3 in the same breast.

I had a CT scan yesterday and also waiting on results for HER2. I am struggling and the next week cannot come quick enough as at the moment I don't know much in regards to surgery and treatment. Of there is anyone that can let me know what route they went down it would help ease my mind. Thank you for reading

  • Hello I've been told I have HER2 also yesterday , their plan for me is to have the lump removed their said is not hormone related so once it taken out it's gone , also gonna take sample from lymps nodes under my arm ..but said I will need chemo and injections to stop the receptors from HER2 ..for 5 to 6 months xx

  • Hi, sorry to hear you have  recurrence and of course you're now in that horrible phase of waiting.   Fingers crossed that you get your results and treatment plan quickly.
