I have just been diagnosed with grade 2 breast cancer and to say I’m shocked, sad, can’t eat or sleep is an understatement. I’m waiting to find out my treatment plan but think it could be chemo first. Finding this forum has been a godsend as I’m really trying not to feel so alone x
Hi sorry to hear your news, once you have your treatment plan things will move very quickly. So you need to keep busy I found put all your letters in a file, prepare your clothes soft easy to wear button down. Soft bras, make your lounge comfy with blankets, candles soft lights. Prep easy to make meals. Do you have any support please tell your family and friends they are there to help. Take someone with you to all the appointments and remember you are not alone sending you big hugs xx
I am so sorry to hear you have been diagnosed and have joined the club none of us wanted to join. As said before, once you get your treatment plan you will feel a bit better. It takes time to let the diagnosis sink in and to accept it. The forum is a great place for support and help if you need it, please do use it. We are all in the same boat and we are all different in how we cope and I agree, you do feel alone, even though you have family and friends around to support, not everyone can relate to what you are going through, unless you have been there. You will go through all sorts of emotions and feelings, sadness, anger, frustration, tiredness etc, but also you will receive much love and support, sometimes from people you think would not give it, So I wish you all the very best for whatever treatment you have to go through. Do take time for yourself. Sending hugs xx
Hi, I was diagnosed with grade 2 breast cancer in September. Like others have said, it all moves quickly and I had surgery 2 weeks ago now. What you are feeling sounds really familiar. It's been a whole rollercoaster of emotions. I found I felt a little better once I had told a few trusted people and hearing from others on this forum has been incredibly helpful. You are absolutely not alone. Big hugs xx
Thank you so much, everyone on here has been so comforting at such a difficult time, this support is truly amazing, thank you
