Ive just hadmy results, it's back and I need a mastectomy.  Just need to decide on reconstruction yes or no?

I just been diagnosed with this cancer luckily stage 1 , thank god for routine mammograms or would not have known , all here to support you x

I am sorry its back and as someone else said: third time lucky.... keep being strong.  As for reconstruction I came to the thought that breasts are only good for one thing if we are child bearing, otherwise they get in the way of so many things.... but it has to be a personal decision

Hi. I am soo sorry to hear its back. What a terrible time you are having.

I had a left mastectomy and decided an immediate implant reconstruction was for me. In clothing you would never know. I had no symptoms or signs BC picked up at first routine mammogram. 

I hope you dont mind me asking but did you have symptoms that made you believe it was back?

My only worry with an implant is that that breast isnt checked at yearly mammogram just the right one is..

Anyone know how you would know the cancer is back in a breast that has an implant?
