I  was diagnosed with breast cancer in August. I’ve had two rounds  of chemotherapy but unfortunately today they told me that the cancer is not responding. They are going to start me on a new chemotherapy. It seems the cancer I have is aggressive and the lumps or tumours have grown even after having the chemotherapy.  It seems surgery is not a option at this point.

  • TinaM I am sorry to hear that, I can feel that you would be very worried.  There are so many cancer drugs now, that maybe the new drug will be better.  Perhaps someone who has been through the same could advise and give more comfort. x

  • Thanks Angi, yes is very worrying time. I plan to stay positive, it’s my way of dealing with it x

  • So sorry you have been diagnosed and that the cancer is not responding to chemo.  I hope the new drugs will help and work this time.  Good idea to stay positive, it’s all we can do.  I wish you all the best with your treatment.  Xx
