Hi.
I attended the breast clinic this week after finding a lump in my left breast, initially I saw the consultant who said he wasn’t overly concerned but due to my family history would get a mammogram and ultrasound done (my mum currently has stage 4 BC).
The mammogram detected a lump, and an area of calcification so I underwent a few biopsies, the consultant said I had breast cancer.
the next day I had an MRI of my breasts and this has shown a further area of concern which wasn’t seen on mammogram and I have to go back for US on this, I’m also having genetic testing.
just need to wait for all the results now…
