Hi.

I attended the breast clinic this week after finding a lump in my left breast, initially I saw the consultant who said he wasn’t overly concerned but due to my family history would get a mammogram and ultrasound done (my mum currently has stage 4 BC).

The mammogram detected a lump, and an area of calcification so I underwent a few biopsies, the consultant said I had breast cancer.

the next day I had an MRI of my breasts and this has shown a further area of concern which wasn’t seen on mammogram and I have to go back for US on this, I’m also having genetic testing.

just need to wait for all the results now… Cry

  • Hi Crazycapricorn79

Welcome to the forum and I'm sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer.  I'm also sorry to hear that your mum has breast cancer as well.

Wishing you the best of luck with your results and the ultrasound.

    Best wishes
