Hi there everyone, first time posting as a mum watching her 35 yr old daughter go through chemo. Find I'm wobbling emotionally the more we get into her treatment. I've been so strong up to now...

  • Hi Doris63

Welcome to the forum and I'm sorry to hear that you daughter has triple negative breast cancer.   What you are feeling is perfectly understandable, it hard to see loved ones going though tough times.  There's a family and friends forum you can also join to get support from other family whose loved ones are going through or have been through cancer treatment.  Here's the link to that forum: Family and friends forum .

Wishing your daughter the best of luck with her treatment and yourself with supporting her.

    Best wishes

  • Hi Doris63, sorry to hear your daughter is going through cancer treatment. It is a very emotional time not only for her but also for you not being able to help and take this away. We never want to see our kids suffer like this no matter how old they are. It is difficult to stay strong and it’s understandable that you will have emotional times too.
The lovely people at MacMillan can offer support and advice. The forum is a great way to get support too. We are all here to try and help and make the journey not only for patients but also for their support team easier by being able to offer how we have coped with things and what we have done to help make things easier.
When she feels up to things going out for some mother and daughter time together, it’s a great way to support each other and help each other through the tough times.
Wishing you and your daughter all the best.
