Just for fun as we all need some!

Brilliant thread!  When I revealed my newly bald head to a friend, she said "Oh it's amazing how much hair changes a person isn't it"!  Take it I looked AWFULLLLL

 A known work adversary as opposed to “ but you look so  well “ said “ Well you don’t look Ill “ my response was “ Well you don’t look stupid so we all have our crosses to bear “  

That made me laugh out loud!!

Nooooo. Take if you looked like a beautiful warrior!! 

I have had some beautiful passive aggressive comments. 

“are you sure you have cancer, you look fine to me” (work colleague)

“ the lord only gives those the struggles they need at the time they are needed”

number one. What are we supposed to look like???

I know right?!!

Wow!  These comments are wild.  From crazy to just crass.  I haven’t had anything like these but I have found that people often unwittingly say things that annoy I think down to lack of understanding.  Whereas the nurses always seem to know the right thing to say.  

Still miffed with my oncologist...when I told her last week that I was anxious about effects of treatment she promptly said "that's the easy bit - the zoladex and tamoxifen will be worse!" English isn't her first language and I think she was trying to relieve my anxiety about the chemo but please??!!

That’s shocking! She needs some bed side training urgently!! ♀️
