Hello, I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. They said it’s grade 1, HR positive and awaiting her2. Yesterday I received a call to say I should come in for a second ultrasound to check the calcifications on either side of the lump. I am so scared
Sorry to hear you have been diagnosed with breast cancer. I was diagnosed a year ago. Treatment has been developed for good over the years so don’t be scared. It will be a bit of a long process but you will get there. The waiting on results is the worst so spend time doing what you enjoy to fill in the time. If you have any questions your breast care nurse and Macmillan support are always there. This forum is also good as we have all been there and here to tell our story. Take one day and one step at a time. Xx
HiRuva it's absolutely normal to be scared, I certainly was, especially in the early days of diagnosis when it was all new and I didn't understand what was going on. Hopefully they will finish the tests quickly so you know exactly what is happening and then you can get a treatment plan. If you want to chat anything through, don't forget the lovely folks here at Macmillan are available on 0800 800 0000 just to listen to any concerns or answer your questions. Best wishes
