Hi I have my mastectomy tomorrow did anyone have any physical stress and anxiety symptoms leading up to there operation as I am feeling unwell with the stress of it all is this normal.
This is absolutely normal! I was so anxious before my surgery that I had palpitations all night long and felt sick! Try to distract yourself somehow, watch a comedy movie - this is what I keep doing when I feel I'm on the verge of losing the plot. I know how difficult it is but just try your best. You will be in good hands and you will be fine! Breathe. Fingers crossed for tomorrow! Sending you love and positive vibes! xx
Try to see the positive side to it - this is the beginning of your treatment (which won't last forever!) and you will be a step closer to getting rid of your cancer! I know it is easier said than done but try to distract yourself. Go out for a short walk if weather permits, talk to someone or force yourself to focus on something different from your operation, be kind to yourself, you deserve it. Big hug, xx
yes very stressed about it, but it went fine. lots of waiting, try breathing exercises and live in this moment, only tackle things as u need to. tonight sleep, tomorrow shower, get dressed and get there, and the. once u arrive deal with what they will ask u to do
one step at a time hugs
