Hi everyone,
I was just after a bit of information please.
I was diagnosed back in May with recurrent breast cancer.
The first time I had it, I had a mastectomy. It was stage 2 with no lymph nodes involved so all the treatment they advised was tamoxifen. Nearly 5 years on I found a lump on the side I had a mastectomy and then found out it was cancer again.
This time it is worse and my surgeon said I will most likely need chemo, radiotherapy and hormone therapy. My first oncology appointment is on Wednesday and I was just wondering what I should expect. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
