HI All, very new to this and wanted to say hello, just received Diagnosis today, Grade 2 ER/PR = positive, HER2 negative. Im not really sure what it means but i have been told its treatable and hopefully lumpectomy and radiotherapy will give me full recovery. I know a lot of this is dependent on MRI and I im now booked in for that next week. It all seems like a long daunting journey but I will be positive and I'm sure I will be reaching out looking for some advice and asking really random questions. Head still a bit of a washing machine at the moment but lovely breast cancer nurse has assured me she is also available for any question/worries I have.
Welcome to the forum, so sorry to hear your diagnosis. Wish you all the best for your MRI. Things have advanced so much over the past few years, so you will receive the best treatment plan for you. The forum will offer a lot of support both emotionally and be informative to you. The BC nurses are wonderful and will definitely help and reassure you. Sending hugs x
Hi Angy pangy,
I received the same diagnosis on Monday. I had my MRI today and have to wait 2 weeks for an ultrasound, then another appointment to confirm surgical plan for end of October. I don't have any great pearls of wisdom, but I wanted to say Hello. Your comment about your head being like a washing machine is so apt.
