Hi my name is Julie and I'm at the start of this journey.
I've chosen to keep it within the family and at present just going with the flow. I'm starting chemo next week.
Dint know how I feel about being diagnosed just no emotions towards it...is this normal?
Hi Julie 14 and welcome to the forum and my question to you is define "normal ". Normal is whatever you need it to be and how you feel about things so there is not right or wrong for any of this . Just remember thta if you do need to talk and ask anything or just sound off we are always here for you as you need us to be.
Hope all goes well with the chemo next week and please keep in touch . xx
Hi Julie
In my experience the emotional side unfolds as your journey progresses and there is no normal, it is different for everyone although there are perhaps some common features.
I think a grieving pathway is common for many, but not everyone of course.
It’s good that you have made contact with the forum at the start of your pathway.
I hope your first chemo goes well.
