Hello everyone, I had a right mastectomy on the 18th of July. It is all healing very well and the consultant is pleased with the wound, however, I’m still getting this more or less constant “burning” sensation around the middle of where the breast was and it’s been there since I had the surgery, I’ve been prescribed Narproxen, but it doesn’t get rid of it. Has anyone else experienced similar?

  • Hi Jode79

Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you've been diagnosed with breast cancer and had to have a mastectomy.  While I haven't experienced similar I noticed that you haven't had any answers yet so I thought I reply to you to welcome you to the forum.  This reply will move you to the top of the discussion.  Hopefully someone will be along shortly with an answer for you.

    Best wishes
