You'll be absolutely fine, once you are in, things will move quickly and you'll be done before you know it! The very best of luck! xx 

i brought my phone and scrolled instagram until i went in, out by 5 or 6 that day. but a kindle or book works if are not first on the list.

you'll do fine and then they will give you a snack, once you wee you can go hugs (i told them i was ready to wee before we got back to the wing) i amthe type who is ready to go as soon as I wake up lol

Hi Webb21 , I remember that so well….. I took a puzzle book, magazine and book to read but couldn’t focus on any of it. Didn’t feel dread but just a weird ‘out of it’ feeling. But I will say that I do love the anaesthetic drugs! Hope I’m allowed to say that! 
We will all be with you in spirit, holding your hand, and before you know it you’ll be waking up after the op, hopefully in the sort of dozy stupor that I rather like. I always sleep well the night after too. Chat on here to keep occupied, there’s usually someone rattling around on the ‘Awake’ thread in the General Discussions section. Love and hugs, HFxx

Thankyou for your message, I definitely agree I have had a strange feeling but been ok all day really.

I had op at 12 and was out by 6 pm all seamed to go well

Thanku yes I made it home before kids went to bed so that was nice all went well and my parents and sister are taking good care of me
