Sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer. When you have more information about type, treatment plan etc it will be easier to come to terms with what is ahead. Good that you have found this group. You will find lots of people who have had similar and who will be happy to share their experience with you and to give helpful hints about getting through this. My story is in my profile. Now 2yrs 9months since diagnosis and just had my last planned treatment at hospital. Taking oestrogen blockers at home for another few years but doing fine and looking forward to the future. Onwards and upwards. Good luck and all the best with your treatment. Do use this forum. It is a great source of support in what can sometimes seem like dark days. Most ladies diagnosed now are going to beat their gremlin.

Sorry you have been diagnosed. It’s such a shock isn’t it?

I was diagnosed May and am now recovering from mastectomy.

Once you have further details and a plan as WallyDug has also mentioned, you will feel a little more able to deal with it all.

I am waiting for oncology appointment with a view to receiving chemotherapy but still managing to feel fairly positive.

This site is amazing with lovely people who will I’m sure, have lots of advice for you.

Hi. Welcome to the club nobody wants to join. As others have said here is a safe place to vent, get advice and support. No question is silly and you will probably find someone who has been through similar to you and can offer help. Much better than Dr google. When you know more what your journey is going to look like ask away on here.
