Hallo I am new on here, been diagnosed in May and post surgery now. Awaiting radiation treatment
Was wondering if anyone on here on hormonal treatment, was told need 10 years of tamoxifen and I am considering it.
Anyone who opted out or stopped it and how are you doing without it

Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer. While I don’t have an answer for you I noticed that you haven’t had any replies yet so I thought I’d reply to you to welcome you to the community. Myself I am trying to weight out pluses and minuses of taking tamoxifen for so long (10years) the oncologist said my chances of cancer coming back are 10-20% where pills protect only 30-40% also I am off my contraception pill now so my estrogen should be balanced. It's hard decision comes with lots of worries too. I dream to have a baby and it's just very worrying now, with everything that has happened. Ohh i wish someone just had answers for me
