Hallo I am new on here, been diagnosed in May and post surgery now. Awaiting radiation treatment
Was wondering if anyone on here on hormonal treatment, was told need 10 years of tamoxifen and I am considering it.

Hi Runner83, I am on Anastrazole for 5 years plus a bone treatment and calcium. I believe the Anastrazole can b extended to 10 years if the Oncologist feels it is required. I know some people have had side effects from this treatment but I have been pretty good. I hope it continues to be.
Glad to hear you doing good with the treatment and Thank you for replying
Myself I am trying to weight out pluses and minuses of taking tamoxifen for so long (10years) the oncologist said my chances of cancer coming back are 10-20% where pills protect only 30-40% also I am off my contraception pill now so my estrogen should be balanced. It's hard decision comes with lots of worries too. I dream to have a baby and it's just very worrying now, with everything that has happened. Ohh i wish someone just had answers for me
