Hi everyone. I’m Jane. I was diagnosed with BC in February 2022, after a routine mammogram. I was so lucky as the lump was barely visible/detectable and was only 3mm. I had a lumpectomy, followed by 5 days of radiotherapy and am now taking 2.5 mg of Letrozole daily. Before my diagnosis, I had been taking 10 mg of citalopram and my oncologist suggested that I continue with it. However, I keep reading that the 2 meds shouldn’t be taken together. I would like to know if anyone has any advice or info?
thank you
Hi Janieg
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer. I would imagine that if your oncologist told you that it was ok the take the two meds together then it's ok but maybe double check with them to set your mind at rest.
Best wishes
