Hi I wonder if anyone can help?? I've been on letrozole now since Jan this year, and I'm feeling really ill all the time. The sweats are horrendous, it's like I've just come out of the shower. The next I'm freezing!!!...just feel (sorry for saying) . SHIT!!! most of the time. Has anyone changed to Anastrozole, and was it any better??,
Sorry your feeling shit iv been on then since April it’s my bones that are sore I’m hoping this settles down, you should speak to your BN as she could advise you, hope your feeling better soon x
I hope so, don't feel like I have much of a life, in-between trying to work and feeling crap. Hope you feel better soon x
Hi, sorry you’re feeling so bad. I can fully understand how you’re feeling. I am exactly the same. Unfortunately it’s Anastrozole I’m on. I spoke to tge oncologist and he suggested I stopped taking them for three weeks to gauge if I feel any better. I have now stopped a week and I do feel slightly better. I had aches and pains, hot flushes, head fog, anxiety and just can’t cope. I do believe the brand has something to do with it too. These last ones have been the worst. Brand is Asmara. Didn’t know if I had a sore gum, tooth, ear or head.
Hi, I was on Letrozole at the beginning of the year but the side effects were horrible. The worst being bone pain and not able to sleep. I spoke to my breast cancer nurse and she advised me to stop taking it for two weeks to see if things improved and they did, the bone pain vanished. I’m now on Tamoxifen and have been ok with that so far.
I hope you get things sorted xx
Just found out I have an infection, so that will give me a temperature. So started antibiotics today. Hopefully when I get that sorted, I can then see if that was the issue. Also have spoken with the chemist and I've received Accord letrozole. So fingers crossed I might start feeling better soon X
Thank you for the advice. Sometimes you just don't know what to do for the best X
