Hi I’m new here just wanted to say hello
Hi Sasha Elizabeth and a warm welcome to the forum. It’s a club we wouldn’t choose to join but a great place for support and shared experiences.
May I ask if you’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer or are waiting for tests or appointments? I lurked around the site for a while before I plucked up the courage to post something, by which time I’d had my op and was waiting for my oncology appointment to discuss next steps (which were hormone treatment and radiotherapy in my case). That was nearly 5 years ago!
Wishing you well, HFxx
I was diagnosed on Monday with Stage 1 invasive Ductal Cancer, I just feel I need to connect with people who knows what it feels like I’m in limbo at the moment waiting for appointments now a CT Scan and then I have to have Chemo first then an operation.
thank you for reaching out.
Ah that horrible limbo stage really is tortuous. Somehow you’ll get through this bit, it’s really tough not knowing exactly what you’re dealing with. I definitely felt ‘better’ once treatment started, the waiting game is the pits. This is a great place though for connecting with people who’ve been through similar experiences, it can otherwise feel very lonely and overwhelming. Love and hugs, HFxx
Hi Sasha Elizaberth
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Like you I'm in limbo at the moment as I am waiting to have a operation to remove a small lump in my left breast. The waiting for things to happen is hard. Try to keep yourself busy while you are waiting as it helps the time pass and also can help you forget things for a little while. I love to read and go for walks with my dog while I am waiting for my operation.
Wishing you the best of luck with your CT scan and treatment.
Best wishes

Thank you all, I have just received my CT Scan appointment for Sunday and an Oncology appointment for Monday so things are going quickly, I’m very scared I have to say not sure I’ll sleep much the next couple of days.
It's good that things are moving quickly. Hopefully once you have your treatment plan you'll start to feel less scared.
Best of luck with your appointments.
