Hey guys. My mums been fighting secondary breast cancer since January 2016. She is a fighter. Until recently we’ve been told by her oncologist that they are not going to be able to offer much treatment. My world fell apart when I heard them words so I thought it would be nice to chat with people that are fighting this horrible disease.xxx
Hello Mums Carer
I am very sorry to hear about your Mum's secondary breast cancer. It must be a very difficult time for you both.
There is a forum on here that I think may be of help to you so I will pop a link below. It is specifically for carers. It may be somewhere where you can connect with other people caring for someone with cancer if you feel this would help.

We also have a forum for secondary breast cancer that you may want to have a look at.

Hi Mums carer,
I'm so sorry to hear that you've found yourself in this situation - it is always heartbreaking to lose a parent, let alone losing a parent to this terrible disease! I was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 weeks ago and my daughter has been my rock from day one! Believe me, your mum is proud to have you, you daughers are a blessing to us mums!!! I don't have experience with metastatic breast cancer, but if I were you I would definitely ask for another/second opinion, perhaps something more could be done to prolong her life. Stay strong and stay in touch! Big hug! XX
So true. My mum says exactly the same as you. She really appreciates it too. I guess if I was in that situation then I would want my daughter there for me.
I am currently looking into clinical trials for her.x
Excellent idea! I wish you and your mum the very best of luck in fighting the disease!!! xx
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
