Hi all,
Grateful to join the community. I am very alone on this journey so it’s great to connect here. I am 4 months into Chemo for breast/lymphoma and it’s been tough. Currently have terrible swelling in my arm as well as mouth ulcers. Has anyone had the same symptoms and have advice on how to ease the discomfort?
Really sorry to hear you’re feeling so rough. I didn’t have the swelling but I got horrible mouth ulcers, I found that whilst Difflam tasted foul it did help with them, I was given it by the hospital. I would definitely speak to your breast care team and see if they can offer you some support and extra help. All the best to you x
Hi, a salt water rinse was all I could manage to ease my mouth ulcers as during chemo the taste of mouthwash was too strong. And I agreed with Anna's advice to talk to your medical team about the arm swelling. Best wishes
