Abemaciclib side effects

Hi Rubywind, welcome to the group. Sorry to hear you still have adverse reactions to Abemaciclib. Have started mine 4 months ago, same dosage as yours, twice a day. I had diarrhoea when I started but seems to work much better now. I noticed the diarrhoea tends to come back when I don’t stick to the 12 hour intervals.  I was wondering whether you ve been taking anti diarrhoea meds.  I was given that and helped a lot. I was also advised to cut down spicy food and greasy food etc.

I totally emphasise!,  I had such severe diarrhoea it made me so unwell I ended up being dehydrated and put on a drip at the Hospital. They cut the dose to 100, 2 x 50 a day and apart from the odd episode and some low kidney counts I'm tolerating it xx

Hi, I'm just starting cycle 10,had diarrhea and bloating all along. Reduced dose to 100 x2 a day and saw improvement. 

Diet seems to effect it, can't each much healthy stuff lol

Other main issues is thining hair, brittle & ridged nails, loss of appetite & weight loss

I live in hope that it does the trick & stops a reacurrance, but not much fun in the meantime
