Hi lovelies... So I've started chemotherapy, and I told the nurse administering it I was taking them and she never mentioned not to take them. I've now been reading there are some you shouldn't take and some are OK. Then I read other things, so confusing! I know the bloody calcium and vitamin D3 they gave me to chew are disgusting and make my nausea worse! Yuk!! Lemon flavoured to make them niceMakes them taste worse!! Anyone else have this dilemma? I'm vegetarian/pescatarin..who has a healthy diet, which I can see going down the pan as I start to go off certain things. I LOVE my food and
wine, so this is a real dilemma.. although I have not even felt like a drink! Saves money I spose
much love
️
Hi how long are you on the calcium tablets for? I was told by oncologist not to take my other vitamins wat a healthy diet, but like you my taste buds have changed after radiotherapy and letrozole tablets.
Good luck with your food choices it's really hard staying on top of it all especially going through menopause as well. Big hugs x
Hi..I have to take the chewable yuk continuously, once these run out I'm to ask my gp for some! I am going to check when I go back to see what they say, big hugs xxx
Hi had them for a month, they did blood test to check calcium etc hope your levels are good now x
Hi, oh I'm hoping they do that with me, I've only just started them, so I've got a way to go. Which reminds me, I've got to chew one now wishe me luck! Xxx
