I’m now at the stage where I am thinking about reconstruction after having a mastectomy. Wondering if anyone has been through that and how if they could share experiences?

Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you needed treatment for breast cancer. There is a good article by a Dr Peter Harvey called After the treatment finishes - then what which sums up perfectly what’s it’s like after treatment finishes. I’ve read it myself and found it very helpful.
While I can’t help with reconstruction after a mastectomy as I only had a lumpectomy I noticed you haven’t had any answers yet so I thought I’d reply to you anyway to welcome you to the community. This reply will also put your query to the top of the discussion. Hopefully some of the lovely people here will be along shortly to give you the benefit of their experience.
