Hi everyone, i have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and had a lumpectomy Fri 12th May 23. I have been taking HRT since Oct 22 due to my anxiety feeling out of control. The other symptoms I was finding I was able to manage more. My surgeon has suggested to wean off HRT and my GP has advised not to take anything else that is hormone related. My GP is unable to recommend off the counter products as he does not know what research of the product has taken place. I was wondering if anyone else is in the same situation and if there is anything they can recommend.
Hi BoneyM
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer. While I don't have any suggestions for alternatives to hrt but I noticed that you haven't had any answers yt so I thought I'd reply to you to welcome you to the community. This reply will move you to the top of the discussion and hopefully someone will be along shortly with an answer for you.
Best wishes

Daisy53 Thank you for your reply. Obviously this is not my priority right now, my priority is getting my results from the operation in 3 weeks time and finding out about treatment needed. But it was just something I thought about too. Hopefully some of you lovely ladies might be able to help. Thank you
