I’m new to group, I’m currently supporting my mom through reoccurring TNBC with secondary in her lungs. My moms currently being tested to see if she compatible to have capecitabine. I was wondering if anyone else has been put on capecitabine and what the side effect are? Also how effect it is?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome,to,the,forum and I’m sorr to,hear that your Mum has TNBC again. I was put on Capecitabine in 2021 to mob up any,stray cells as I still had cancer in one of my nodes. I didn’t have any problems with it. I was put on 8 cycles 2 weeks on 1 week off. Altogether I was on it for 6 months.
My cancer was already gone so I can’t tell you how effective it is but I’m sure someone with experience will be along shortly.
