Hello and welcome. The waiting is the pits and the worry gremlins raise their heads. This is a very active thread to chat in. Just join last post and say hello.
I know but there are similarities to some of the strands. I didn't need chemo, the Oncotype DX decided that. Surgery, radiotherapy and hormone blockers for me. I have put it behind me now. Just staring to live again. Once one has had cancer though, a slight doubt will always be there. No guarantees. Waiting is stressful for everyone, always a gap of 4 or more weeks between appts. Radiotherapy was 11 wks after surgery. I do feel lucky to have picked it up when I did. It's the biggest shock having it confirmed what it is. Hope your treatment goes smoothly and you don't wait too long. X
Hi,
I felt just like you did about my boob been a ticking time bomb, and cancer growing whilst waiting for scan results and treatment to start. This stage is very very hard psychologically. I also cut my hair to shoulder length and then as soon as it started falling out cut to a number 4. Was so much better than when long clumps were coming out. Anna bandanna is a good siteforgays and scarves x
