Hi
I’m after a little bit of your knowledge please. I finished radiotherapy at the end of last year, following a lumpectomy and lymph node removal on my right breast. However over the last few weeks I’ve had a full ache in my arm pit and side of breast and also noticed my breast is swollen. Is this just an effect of the radiotherapy? And if so any advice. Thank you lovely people in advance xx

Hi Jennywren, sorry to hear you ve been in pain and your breast is swollen. I had lumpectomy and some of my lymph nodes removed in October, then radiotherapy end of December. The area is still sensitive and a bit painful to touch. Was advised that it takes time to fully recover.
As Daisy53 suggested, you should contact your breast care nurse for help. I hope you get the help you need very soon x
Thanks cupcake 06, hope yours feels better soon too. I was feeling fine following my treatment so was a bit concerned that it had started aching and swelling, but will have a chat with the breast care nurse xx
