I've been diagnosed with breast cancer and I'm going to need a mastectomy and lymph node removal. I've got a ct scan booked in a couple of days to find out if it's spread. How do people manage to stay positive?
Hi Fengirl2 sorry to hear your news
the waiting is the worst part I feel. Sometimes it helps to try stay busy but it’s a tough part of the journey for sure.
I am currently waiting on biopsy results and every day feels like a month
there is a great community on here that do really help though so keep posting and get the support from girls who are treading same path
beat wishes for CT x
Sorry you find yourself a member of this ' club ' . Agree, keep yourself busy and just wait to see what your results are. Theres nothing you can do whatever the situation and once your treatment plan isin place you will start to feel better as you will knowwhats ahead and get your head round it all. We have all been there my lovely but once you begin your course of treatment you will get yourself into a routine.
i had TNBC in 2017 and again in 2019 so had WLE first time round with radiotherapy and then 2019 single mastectomy with chemo. If you need any advice or maybe just want a chat about things please msage me. Good luck and try n stay strong, you're not alone
