Hi All
I’ve been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, had lumpectomy and full axillary clearance 3 weeks ago. Need a bigger margin to be taken and awaiting oncology meeting for treatment plan. The worry and waiting is horrendous!
Hi MuckyPawsHonoton
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer. The waiting is one of the worst things about getting cancer but once you know your treatment plan things should start to look better for you.
Wishing you the best of luck with whatever comes next for you.
Best wishes

Thank you. Just waiting for oncology appointment which I understand can be as long as a month. At moment feels a bit like you’re left in limbo having had op and almost healed, although physio ongoing as tight! It’s just weird feeling like your normal purpose has stopped!
At the start it all appointments! Once those stop it hits you with a bang. Keep up the exercises. A month for the oncologist is about right and your treatment 3/4 weeks later. They are all good at what they do so stay calm
I’ve got my oncology appointment through now, but another month away. So 6 weeks from referral. But at least I’ve got it. Just weird having another month to sit in limbo!
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
