Hello All
i am 5 weeks post surgery For DCIS; tumour was 2cm in my left boob and in 2 x lymph nodes. All is healing well and the lymph node clearance has provided a good result.
I’m now waiting to hear from Oncology regarding Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy. My company, family, friends have all been super supportive, however I am really struggling with extreme tiredness/fatigue. I’ve had some bloods taken via my GP, waiting for hose results. My question is - has anyone else experienced this extreme tiredness?
Hi yes it was awful but just rest when you need too, my surgery was October and I still get tired. It's also my medication but you should rest allow your body to recover take care x
Gosh yes - various stages of treatment can cause tiredness. Your body is going through all sorts of changes/drugs so listen to it and rest when you need to.
xx
