Hello , I'm new to this forum . I've had a mastectomy and Auxiliary node clearance on 17th January. Although recovering well from surgery I am now becoming increasingly anxious as my oncology appointment looms this Thursday. I will be having chemo then radiotherapy and hormone therapy. I'm hoping once I know more about my treatment cycle I'll feel a lot better. I'm sure these feelings are normal butbut goodness it's tough isn't it .
Hi Hellybelly and yes, it's tough, especially when we're waiting for someone to confirm the next steps. I felt better once I had a clear plan and whilst chemo was rough, it was for a set time period and I got through it knowing there was an end in a matter of months. Best of luck for your appointment .
Thank you Irishgirl16 . I'm hoping that's the case . Glad to hear you've got through it and hopefully you're recovering well.
