Hi everyone, I’m just wondering if anyone else on here that is going through chemo haveing loose bowel movements all the time? I had my first chemo 5 weeks ago and I’ve only had one normal bowel movement since, I eat healthy and drink plenty of water along with excersise, the helpline say take loperamide so I did then I ended up on lactose for constipation then drs to see if constipation but wasn’t, I’ve had chemo cancelled twice now because of it, I’m going this morning for my second dose but still a bit waterway, feel like I’m going round in circles

  • Hi Meandm

Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer.   While I haven't had any experience with loose bowel movements I noticed that you haven't had any replies yet so I thought I'd welcome you to the community.  Hopefully someone will be along shortly with an answer for you.

    Best wishes
