I was diagnoses with a cyst a year ago after finding a lump and having a mammogram I went back as l was still worried and got mammogram ultrasound and mri
I have been told l have two lobular cancers 3cm and 2cm but told it was fairly straightforward lumpectomy .l now need a mastectomy but told it looks like it is contained
I have estrogen positive but one of the lumps has come back as her2 borderline the other is negative
Waiting on phone call over the next two days regarding results and treatment surgery Monday or chemo first
Has anyone had anything similar.l am losing confidence as each time l go back the information changed and delayed
That waiting is awful
Geri,
Have faith - once you have results, you will have a treatment plan.
From there you’ll know what’s happening and get your head around it!
Everything moves pretty quickly from there on.
There are some lovely people on this forum and many experiences they can share with you. It’s a tremendous help.
Best wishes xx
Hi, try not to worry too much. I have 2 small lumps, one oestrogen and the other her2 positive, o have to have 6 chemo sessions with target therapy at the same time then a lumpectomy, not sure what’s to follow after that, I will see the surgeon on the 5th chemo when I’ve had another savant to see if the lumps have shrunk
Thanks,it is so lovely to have someone who stops my mind racing
I was even crying in the shop as the jammies for hospital had stupid slogans on like " l am in a good mood day" l left empty handed
Hospital said they would call today or tomorrow so only one more sleep
No calls today
Hopefully tomorrow as surgery scheduled for Monday depending on results
One more sleep
Thanks for responding
Cry all you like - better to let it out.
Try to find some grumpy slogans , they’ll make you smile.
xx
