Hi, I have just been diagnosed with TNBC Grade 3 and my next step is MRI results then phonecall from Oncology. I'm feeling positive and living in the now which seems to be helping. I get up about 4.30am most days now. My other breast starts to twinge and I panic but it only happens at night so think it's just when I lean on it. My lump is about 5cm and at times is very painful. I know it is there. My breast is starting to change shape and colour each day. I'm going to have Chemotherapy soon. No treatment plan set up yet but it will be soon. I have a 6 year old who knows about my poorly boob. I'm doing okay, taking each day at a time. I have been keeping myself busy with painting and model planes as I am waiting the MRI results. I also took bloods for R208 Gene testing. Waiting on those results then I can start my Chemotherapy. I will have to give up teaching too for a while which I have accepted. Sending love to all and thanks for listening. I know you will all be able to help and offer advice.
Hi CharW
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast cancer. It's great that you have a positive attitude to your diagnosis and that you are keeping yourself busy between appointments, it's half the battle against this awful disease. Like you I had a positive attitude, though there were days when I didn't feel positive but they were few or far between. You'll find great support from the ladies and gents on this forum when you need it. If you'd like to know about my journey with Triple Negative Breast cancer just click on my name.
Wishing you the best of luck with your treatment when it starts.
Best wishes

Sorry you find yourself here, hopefully you’ll get some good support throughout your treatment here. I was very open with my child, she was 4 when I had my first brush with BC and 12 (now 13) when I had my second, my personal opinion is that as long as we keep explanation age appropriate they cope much better knowing the facts and it’s hard to hide chemo. Hopefully you’ll get your plan soon, all the best x
