Hello I am new to the group i am told i have DCiS breast cancer in the right breast. Just awaiting on a biopsy result then have an appointment next week to dicuss plan of action. Il worried but trying to stay positive.
Hi, try not to worry too much. I know that’s easier said then done, but you will be well looked after. I was diagnosed with DCIS & Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in my right breast last October. I had a lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy in December. I am now waiting to have radiotherapy and will need 5 years of hormone treatment as my BC was ER positive, but HER2 negative. Fortunately I don’t need chemo.
Your team will give you the best advice and once you know what treatment you need, things become clearer and get easier to deal with. Wishing you lots of luck on your journey xx
Very similar results to those of my wife ( of 41 yers today) she is coping well after 5 years - so keep positive
support of loved ones goes a long way on the journey as does your own positive mental attitude
Similar to mine. Going to keep walking and ignoring it as much as possible. Radiotherapy on 24rd Feb.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
