That's great to hear that you've been fine after your first chemo. I found that I reacted exactly the same to every dose of chemo which for me, meant hardly any side effects other than losing my hair.

Hi, I had very similar side effects each time and it didn’t get particularly worse, even though I was warned it might. Best of luck

Can I ask what chemo you had start mine next week.

Hi. I too had less side effects than expected and they didn't get worse while I was on first drug ec. However it changed when I moved on to docetaxel and I got sepsis first cycle so oncologist reduced dose which worked.

I thought ec was meant to be harsher than docetaxel, I go on to that one in 2 weeks, so hoping I will be fine with it, I know everyone reacts differently.

Hi, I had Docetaxel and Carboplatin along with Herceptin and Pertuzumab, 6 cycles every 3 weeks. 

It's really strange how the same drug can affect people in different ways. I think docetaxel is perhaps seem as less severe as it's only one drug whereas ec is a mix of two. Fingers crossed for your future cycles

Had the last of ec last week, so now on to docetaxel x 3 and phesgo injections x 18 and waiting for appointment for scan to see if it has shrunk then surgery and radiotherapy..
