Hi, I have recently had a bilateral therapeutic mammoplasty with lymph node removal on both sides. Cancer was found in four nodes and I am now having a CT Scan. I understand that this is normal procedure but am terrified that it will have spread and what that will mean. I know that I have to manage this one step at a time but any thoughts or experiences would be helpful. Thank you
For me, waiting for the results of the CT scan was the worst two weeks of my life, I don't think there's anything anyone can say to make it easier, it is absolutely awful. But I thought that hearing it is awful from someone might make you feel less alone in it!
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
