Hi I am new to this group, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in October. I am meant to be going for surgery on 5th January for mastectomy this is still pending as the hospital have not received my lymph nodes results, surgery was 2 weeks ago. They have asked me to do the wash as instructed 5 days before, I am so stressed out as I just want this over with has anyone else been in this situation. Do you think it will go ahead what are your thoughts?

Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you were diagnosed with breast cancer. Hopefully your lymph node result will be back soon and that your surgery can go ahead on the 5th of January. It’s perfectly understandable that you are stressed waiting to find out whether or surgery will go ahead next week. Try to keep yourself busy to take your mind off things.
