Hello - i'm sort of new! to the forum, anyway.
I've been through my treatment, and i think all is still well.
After my lumpectomy, the surgeon said i needed a second op to remove more. I agreed of course.
Just before going in he suggested he could do corrective surgery on my inverted nipples, while under anaesthetic. I agreed, but i didn't really care either way.
The nipple surgery didn't work. Nipples reverted to being inverted. My left one which used to come out doesn't any more. (the side of the lumpectomy). Now i'm plagued with itching. How can i clean them properly? I'm hoping that's all it is.
I've already been discharged.
Hi there, welcome to the forum and well done for getting through all your treatment.
so sorry you're having problems with your breasts post surgically.
I'm sorry I don't have any experience in order to offer you advice but feel that it may be a question for your breast care nurse.
I am sure that he/she will be able to offer you information regarding cleaning and itching.
I hope it resolves quickly.
Take care
