Hi,
Went to docs fews days ago were she felt 2 lumps and inflamed lymph nodes in right breast,I had been feeling a bit heavy in that area and uncomfortable but just put it down to menopause,I'm 46 years old,my breast is also a bit flaky but just thought I needed to apply cream,my left breast is totally fine, hospital called day after referring to advice they'd call at start of week with appointment to get me in next week, has anyone had same symptoms?going out my mind to be honest
Hi Rosielola, I'm so very sorry to hear your news, I completely understand that you are scared. I was told yesterday that I am breast cancer positive and it has been mind-shifting. The news comes as so permanent and is like facing the 'great unknown'. I am 48 years old and they have found 1 lump. I am going to have an mri too as they need to look properly at my other breast because I have fibrocystic disease which makes it difficult to tell what is really going on in there. I hope very much that you will take heart and know that you are not alone. I think it is really important for us to have a positive mindset and to take things one day at a time.
Try to remember that 3 out of 4 lumps in the breast are not cancer but even if it is, the treatments these days are wonderful
and the majority of women go on to live long and happy lives
