Hi, I’m not very familiar with online chat forums or support groups, but having recently been told I have DCIS, and now waiting to see a consultant, I thought I would reach out for support from people who are further along the breast cancer road. So, hello!!
Hi Granny, welcome This is a fabulous place to be, full of support and friendship. This is also my first online forum so I’m navigating my way around.
I was diagnosed last month with invasive lobular cancer and will be having a left mastectomy this Friday - things move fast once you’ve been diagnosed although it does feel slow to us, they don’t mess around. Keeping busy and getting outdoors has been my savour up to now. I’ve decided to move bedrooms for a while to allow my chap some rest as he’ll be looking after me so I’m busying myself getting my new ‘lady parlour’ ready with lots of home comforts ready for my recovery. Lots of love to you xx
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
