HIya,
Feeling anxious was diagnosed 30th August with breast cancer and since then it's been a lot of scans, mammograms, mammotomes and biopsies....
Tomorrow I get a definitive prognosis and treatment plan.
Have been trying not to overthink things and stress about the unknown but its very scary, not sure how others are dealing with their news.
In the 2nd week i was so stressed i developed a stress rash over my chest which was red raw and only cleared up with a steroid cream.
xx
Hi Neene14
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer. It's perfectly natural to stress about the unknown particularly because you have had such a long wait to find out what your treatment plan is going to be but once you have your treatment plan you should start to feel better about things.
Wishing you the best of luck with your appointment tomorrow.
Best wishes

HI Daisy53,
Thank you for your response, I have good days and bad days but as the day draws closer I get more anxious....the long wait has been pretty gruelling as i felt like every time i had a test the outcome was worst than the initial and last diagnosis.
Still trying to stay positive at these uncertain times.
Hi Neene14, it’s completely understandable the nearer the results time comes the more anxious one gets. Your mind can run wild, I know mind does but I try to remember that I am in good hands and they have the knowledge and experience to help treat me. Each care plan is individually tailored to your own personal situation. It’s great to stay positive at these times and I know how hard that can be. Good luck with your results.

Hi Cuffcake2000,
Thank you for your kind words, I do have to remember that although everyone may have C, the actual extensive and form of C is very different for each person. so rightly so each treatment plan will differ. I do full confident when my consultant advises me, i just struggle with the not knowing.
I hope all is well with you and thank you for responding.
Sending loads of love & hugs to you too.xx
