Hi,
made the decision to sign up this morning to share my story and get support from those in the know.
I’m 44 and found a lump in my left breast mid August. Been diagnosed with triple negative bc and about to start 8 cycles of chemo prior to surgery.
I have been all over the place, very dark places to not so bad and I think the waiting is the worst part. Had CT scan and heart scan this week and a bone scan next week (routine screening for triple negative) and now thinking all the worst thoughts.
my husband has been amazing as have family and friends but they just don’t know how it feels to have this diagnosis.
To connect with those who have been through or are going through similar just might be what I need.
lots of love to you all
Hi Westgirl
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. The waiting on results is certainly on of the worst things of a cancer diagnosis.
I was diagnosed with triple negative two years ago. Luckily it was caught early and I am now cancer free after having chemo, surgery and radiotherapy. If you click on my name you will find my story there.
Wishing you the best of luck with your treatment when it starts.
Best wishes
