Hi everyone

Results yesterday- 13mm invasive Breast cancer with one node positive, one node micro mets and one node negative.

Wondering about chemo- will hear on 18th Oct.

Letrazole prescribed even though I’m pre menopausal? Wondering if they will add other meds to suppress ovaries. I am 50.

Have also been given info about a Prosigna trial.

lots to take in but ready to do what’s required.

Anyone had the Prosigna test?

best wishes x

  • Hi  so sorry to hear of your diagnosis, it's a worrying time I'm sure.  In have not personally got any experience of the Prosigna test, but if you put it into the search bar at the top of this Forum, you'll see some older chats related to this. Best wishes

  • Hi, sorry to hear about your diagnosis   i was pre menopause when I was diagnosed so couldn't go on Letrazole, so have been on Tamoxifen.  Usually they give Zoladex to surpress ovaries but because I was 48 when diagnosed, my oncologist said menopause may be imminent so may not  have to stay on Tamoxifen for long before changing to Letrazole.  I would check with your team they haven't made a mistake with your treatment x
