Hello

please could somebody help me

i have already been diagnosed with bi lateral breast cancer and just this morning I was told over the phone that I have another different cancer in my left breast different grade. I’m going out of my mind - 6 weeks ago I would have called myself perfectly healthy. I didn’t really get the chance to ask any questions what can this mean? Is it another breast cancer or has it come from somewhere else. I’m so frightened.

  • Hi Harkness

Sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer in your other breast. I suggest that you ring your breast care nurse to ask for the information on your new cancer..

it’s perfectly understandable that you are frightened it not easy being told you breast cancer once let alone twice.

    Hope this helps.

    Best wishes

  • Hi, I don't come onto the forum that much these days but read your post and wanted to reach out. I was, out of the blue, diagnosed with cancer tumors in both breasts. Seeing I wasn't aware of lumps anywhere I was poleaxed when they told me. I had a different grade in each breast. I had a lumpectomy to remove both tumors with lymph node removal on both sides. I then had radiotherapy for both breasts which, to be honest, was pretty hard going as I was on the bed for quite a long time. But, please don't panic, and that's rich coming from me who just was a gibbering wreck for months. A year down the line I have just had my first year check all clear. Come on girl , we've all got ya.
