I’m new to this group

Hi Leshar.

I had breast cancer earlier this year and completed radiotherapy 5 weeks ago.I am still feeling tired and lethargic post treatment. Waiting for my follow up with the oncologist.

I am really disenchanted with this hormone treatment and side effects. I am so low and struggling with nightsweats and hot flushes. I spoke to my gp which was a waste of time and he just said well stop taking them until you see the specialist. I rung the hospital and spoke with a lovely nurse who said to at least take them until you see consultant as there are other brands you can take of Letrozole. I went through menopause at 38 am now 59 and I just want to get rid of side effects. 

I know they say they cant force you to take them. But will see what she says whenever i see her.

Hi I had breast cancer finished radiotherapy 2 weeks ago still quite tired I also take the hormone treatment gives me hot flushes which at 82yrs thought I’d finished that.I wish you well hope they sort your tablets out when you go so miserable to feel that way 

Yes, I think it’s best to get your oncologist to sort it out. I don’t think GPs are very clued up. I’m seeing mine at end of next month so we shall see what he says. Thanks
