Hi everyone
i got told yesterday after another biopsy and a MRI SCAN that I have cancer in both breasts so treatment possibly delayed while they investigate. I haven’t slept anmy anxiety has spiralled out of control. Now I feel more scared of dying through stress and through cancer. Don’t kmow which way to turn. Just sitting here unable to function. Is this normal and how long does it go on for. Xxx
Hi Harkness
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer in both breasts. What you are feeling is perfectly normal, you've had a big shock, it's not easy finding out that you have cancer. Once know your treatment plan things should start to feel a lot clearer.
In the meantime why not contact Macmillan for support, I know a number of cancer suffers who contacted them when they needed support and find them very helpful. Here's the link to the various supports that you can get from Macmillan: https://www.macmillan.org.uk/cancer-information-and-support/get-help.
Wishing you the best of luck with your treatment when it starts.
Best wishes
