Hello, I’ve recently had lumpectomy & re-excision & now awaiting mastectomy. Has anyone tried or know anyone who’s tried Rife therapy?

  • Hi Beb welcome to the forum. I dont know and have never heard of this which makes be skeptical about it. I have had a look and Im not sure why it would be used as it very clearly says it is not a cure for Cancer. Personally and it is just my thoughts I wouldn,t try anything at the moment which is outwith your prescribed treatment.

I will be interested to see what others think or if anyone has tried this and what benefit they got from it. xxx

    1. Hi Gail, thank you for your reply & I am very interested to hear about any natural therapies too that others may have tried.
Thank you for your kind welcome! Beb
  • Hi , hadn’t heard of Rife therapy either but wondered if you’ve looked at the Penny Brohn centre in Bristol? I haven’t been there but have looked at their online support and will hopefully get there sometime! It’s nowhere near me but looks very interesting, and I’ve known of folk here having online consultations. I think they offer complementary therapies which would go alongside or in addition to conventional treatments. Worth a look! Love and hugs, HFxx

  • Thank you Hopi for your reply and will take a look at Penny Brohn online as not near me either.

My sister gave me the Chris Woollams book 'EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW TO HELP YOU BEAT CANCER' and it is so interesting as he has done lots of research into all the things to avoid, to do and to take. I am still reading it as there is so much to take in & I just checked and Penny Brohn & the Bristol Diet is mentioned.

Love your positive outlook and sending love and hugs for you on your journey too. xx

  • Thanks , he looks very interesting! Also if you’re near London there’s a relatively new centre called Future Dreams which I learned about a couple of weeks ago. Last Tuesday I went with a friend to a talk/ discussion about diet and breast cancer. It was really interesting and useful, the same dietitian seems to offer a session once a month by the look of it. There are also in house and online yoga classes plus probably much more, haven’t really investigated it fully yet. Wouldn’t go to London that often ax although it’s quite close for me I still found the whole day exhausting! HFxx

  • Thank you HF for info on Future Dreams ~ just looked online & is very interested to go sometime. My daughter is starting yogi classes soon so will be joining. I’ve cut out dairy, red meats & alcohol & trying to eat more fruits & veg - did you get any good tips at your diet talk?
    Sending hugs xxx
